Acoustic pods
Acoustic pods are located in Reading Room A.They provide a place to work or study, allowing up to four people to talk freely.They require reservation through the form.Rules of use of acoustic pods
4Team room – room 145
The 4Team room is designed for meetings and study in groups of up to 12 people. It is a part of the Reading Room C .
To use it, it is required to make a reservation through a form.
Special Collections Reading Room – room 177
The resources available in this Reading Room are:
- Master’s, bachelor’s and engineer’s theses
- How to search for the theses
- Thesis request form (DOCX | PDF)
- doctoral dissertations,
- e-książki dostępne tylko na terenie Biblioteki (wykaz i katalog e-książek)
- and standards
- The catalog of the traditional (paper) standards.
- ICS 67 (Food Industry) standards are available online
(on-site in the Reading Room only).
Periodicals Reading Room
The Magazine Reading Room is located on the mezzanine floor in Reading Room A. Current titles of Polish and foreign magazines are available there.
Reading Room A – quiet space
In the Reading Room A, the books are available on the so-called open stacks (see the open stacks map).
In addition, there are computer stations in the Reading Room, including one with facilities for people with disabilities (including a contrasting keyboard, trackball, and height-adjustable desk).
Reading Room C – for group work
Reading Room C is equipped with comfortable couches, armchairs, poufs and is designed for group work. However, please pay attention to whether your conversations disturb other Users.
