Scientific Information Network
Mission
The Scientific Information Network (NSI) provides information, strengthens competences and inspires creativity to build the scientific and didactic potential of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
Vision:
By 2025, the Scientific Information Network will become:
- A competent team that, using digital techniques, supports users in effectively reaching adequate and complete information;
- A design hub that provides a friendly space, conducive to the creative implementation of tasks in modern forms of individual and group work;
- A resource of specialized digital information from all over the world available to each registered user;
- A space conducive to creative activities and the exchange of thoughts
NSI carries out, in particular, information, research, teaching, scienceometric and library tasks.
From the formal point of view, NSI consists of:
Władysław Grabski Main Library
Library at the Institute of Civil Engineering and the Institute of Environmental Engineering
Library at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine
Library at the Institute of Human Nutrition Sciences
Outside the formal structure of the NSI, but being its essential substantive element:
SGGW Knowledge Base – a portal presenting the academic achievements of the university.
