Computer workstation for persons with disabilities in Reading Room A:
- Automatic height adjustable desk
- Two screens
- Keys-U-See large computer keyboard (yellow/black)
- BIG TRACK trackball mouse for people who cannot use a traditional computer mouse
- iZoom screen magnifier and reader
Electronic text enlarger – in Reading Room A, which allows users to:
- read books and magazines available at the Reading Room by magnifying their texts and images using a 23-inch monitor
- to change the color of the image (e.g. black and white, negative, black and yellow)

- ZoomText gives users the tools to enlarge, enhance, and read everything just the way you want (e.g. providing comfortable reading with a magnifying ruler). It also allows users to modify the contrast of the screen by changing color (e.g., into black and yellow) as well as to change the cursor size. It also allows the computer to read selected text aloud.

Induction loop at the first stand of the Circulation Desk and at the reader’s service desk in the Reading Room.
- To use the induction loop and communicate freely, the hearing impaired person should switch the hearing aid to telecoil (T) mode.
- The vast majority of hearing aids are equipped with a telecoil (T), so they work with an induction loop.
- To find out if there is such a feature in your hearing aid, contact your hearing care professional, who will reprogram your hearing aid as desired.
