Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP) of the MDPI
In March 2024, SGGW signed an agreement with the MDPI publishing house, which publishes journals in open access. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. Participation in the MDPI open publishing program allows employees of SGGW to take advantage of a 10% discount on the fee for publishing articles in the journals of this publisher, and as of 2023, the aforementioned discount can be combined with other types of discounts. However, please note that only one discount through an IOAP scheme is permitted per paper and any discount offered by the Editorial Office is inclusive of the IOAP discount.
Furthermore, affiliated authors receive a 15% discount on Language Editing Services provided by MDPI.

Article submission for the program
In order to obtain a discount for the publication of an article, please: register and log in to the application page: https://susy.mdpi.com/ and complete the publication application form. After adding the article to the database, select the Display Submitted Manuscripts option. The submitted publication is automatically matched to the IOAP participant based on the e-mail address. The authors are asked to confirm their choice or choose the institution: SGGW, if none has been found.
