The program resumed in July 2021 with the signing of a 100-article contract for that year. Articles published in the first half of the year in the traditional model may be converted into an open model (retroactivation).
The program includes 348 OUP hybrid journals, see list:
Note: the list also includes journals that are not included in the program, see description in column 4. The program allows the authors of a certain number of OA articles accepted for publication in the current year to be published free of charge. In 2020, the pool of articles was 204, of which 30 were used, plus articles that are still in the process of retroactivation (the full number will be announced at a later date). In 2021, the pool is 100 items. This pool is not divided into institutions and articles are included in the program in the order of submissions made by authors after the articles are accepted for publication.
The author of an article accepted for publication should complete the on-line form in accordance with the instructions on the publisher’s website, see also the guide for authors:
The corresponding author should use an email address from the domain of the institution participating in the program, which guarantees that the system will automatically send a request for verification of the article to the consortium administrator An author who uses an email from outside the institution’s domain, after receiving the article’s approval from the editorial office, should additionally contact the coordinator. Ebsco has been the license and OUP program coordinator since 2021, contact details: Anna Abramowska AAbramowska@ebsco.com. Information about the consortium is also available on the publisher’s website:
