Rules of use of acoustic booths
- Acoustic booths may be used by employees, doctoral students, students of the University of Life Sciences who have an active account in the Library. People with disabilities are given priority to use the acoustic booths.
- The booths can be used during the Library’s working hours. A maximum of 15 minutes before the Library closes, you must finish working in the booth.
- A maximum of 4 people can use one cabin at a time.
- Cabins must be reserved online by filling out the form available on the Library’s website. The maximum time for booking a cabin is 4 clock hours in a given day for a given booking person.
- A user may reserve only one cabin. Failure to report by the reservation starting time is equivalent to cancellation of the cabin and means cancellation of the reservation. The cancellation of the reservation occurs 15 minutes after the beginning of the reservation period.
- Users using the acoustic booths on each visit are required to: report to the librarian on duty in the Reading Room, confirm the reservation, and when finished, confirm its return.
- In the booths it is possible to use available library collections, own materials and own computer equipment. The user is obliged to close the cubicle each time he leaves it.
- The user is fully responsible for the materials and equipment in the cabin.
- In the booths, the general rules for the use of reading rooms apply, i.e., no drinking or eating except for drinking water.
- Failure to comply with the above-mentioned rules may result in temporary or permanent deprivation of the right to use
the booths. The decision on this matter is made by the Library Director at the request of the head of the Circulation Department.
