How to use acoustic pods
The acoustic pods can be used by SGGW staff, doctoral students and students who have an active Library account. Persons with disabilities have priority in using acoustic pod.
The pods can be used during the Library’s working hours. Using the pod should be completed no later than 15 minutes before the Library closes.
One pods can be used by up to 4 people at a time.
The pods can be booked online by filling out the form available on the Library’s website. The maximum booking time a pod is 4 hours per day for a given person.
A user can only book one pod. Failure to show up on time means resignation and withdrawal the booking. The booking is cancelled 15 minutes after its commencement.
A user of the acoustic pod is obliged to: report to the librarian on duty in the Reading Room, confirm booking, and confirm when finished.
It is allowed to use available library collections, user’s own materials and equipment in the pod. The user is obliged to lock the pod whenever is left unattended.
The user is fully responsible for the materials and equipment left in the pod.
The same library rules apply in the pod as in the libraries in general: snack foods and beverages except water are prohibited.
Failure to follow the rules can lead to temporary or permanent deprivation of the right to use the pod. The final decisions are made by the Library Director at the request of the head of the Circulation.
