How do guide dogs guide a blind person?

Please join us at the event organized together with the Labrador Guide Dog Foundation

During the event, the foundation’s representatives will talk about the training methods of guide dogs, and how the dogs learn how to guide their owner safely around all types of obstacles. 

You will also have an opportunity to see a show during which a guide dog will guide their owner through the public space of our library.

The aim of that walk is to get information about audiobooks in the library.

You will also learn how to train assistance dogs for people with PTSD and therapy dogs for managing trauma among children.
