Elsevier Author Workshop. Tips for young scientists
The Scientific Information Network of WULS along with Elsevier, who is the largest publisher in the world, would like to invite you to participate in an online training course for young scientists during which authors of scientific publications will obtain advice from Elsevier. It will be a practical training course with a Q&A session. You will hear editors, authors and reviewers talk about their experiences.
The webinar is organised as part of the Open Science Week and consists of two parts.

Part 1 How to write and publish a scientific article. 2 pm – 2:45 pm
· How to write a good-quality scientific article
· The publishing processes
· How to make myself visible after publishing my article
· Ethical issues – plagiarism, authorship, copyright.
Part 2. Finding the right journal for publication. 3 pm – 3: 45 pm
· Magazine selection strategies
· Scopus database as a source of information (magazine indicators)
· How to avoid traps
· What can help – Elsevier author support tools.
The training course will be conducted by Paulina Milewska, Customer Consultant, Research Solutions Elsevier. The training course will be held in Polish.
Participation in the training course is free of charge, however prior registration is required.
Participants will receive certificates of participation as well as access to the recording of the webinar.
