Science Library
Information on the new version of the Science Library platform (https://bibliotekanauki.pl)
The Science Library provides free and open access to the full texts of articles published in Polish scientific journals and the full texts of selected scientific books with their metadata.
The website includes the full texts of over 400,000 articles and several hundred scientific books. Journal resources from databases:
- AGRO (journals in the field of agricultural and natural sciences)
- BazTech (journals in the field of engineering, technical and exact sciences)
- CEJSH (journals in the fields of humanities, social sciences, theology and art)
- DML-PL (journals in the field of mathematics)
- PSJD (journals in the field of medical sciences and health sciences)
The platform is successively supplemented with full texts of scientific books previously collected on the Open Book website and other books made available by cooperating publishers..
Using the Science Library does not require creating an account or installing any specialized software. Articles and books are available as files in PDF, EPUB, MOBI and XML formats.
The platform is run by ICM UW in cooperation with publishers and indexing databases.
The Science Library website was created as part of the “Platform of Polish Scientific Publications” project, implemented by the Interdisciplinary Center for Mathematical and Computational Modeling of the University of Warsaw. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the 2nd priority axis of the Operational Program Digital Poland for 2014-2020, Measure 2.3.
