Interlibrary loans
- National interlibrary loans are provided by the reading room of the Main Library for departments without a faculty library. Faculty libraries implement them for their readers.
2. International loans are made only by the Main Library.
A. Obtaining materials from other libraries.
- The Main Library and faculty libraries only import materials that they do not have in their own collections
- Books are imported free of charge. They can only be used on site – the return date is determined by the lending library.
- Prints and scans are imported free of charge only from universities and institutions with an agricultural and life sciences profile.
- These materials are imported after completing the following form: “ORDER”
- The Main Library and faculty libraries do not issue slip sheets for individual borrowing from other libraries.
B. Lending our collections to other libraries.
- The Main Library of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and faculty libraries lend their collections to other libraries in accordance with the regulations in force regarding interlibrary loans.
2.The deadlines for the return of materials borrowed from the Main Library of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and faculty libraries are determined directly when carrying out the loan.
3. The Main Library of SGGW and faculty libraries make periodicals available free of charge in the form of prints and scans to libraries and institutions with an agricultural and natural profile. Other institutions and individuals can order prints for a fee.
